Ledger
What is an Ledger?
A Ledger is a key horizontal component in scaffolding systems, primarily used to connect vertical standards (uprights) and form the framework that supports working platforms. In systems like Cuplock scaffolding, ledgers lock into place to create rigid, load-bearing grids that offer both lateral stability and vertical support. They help distribute weight evenly and maintain the structural integrity of the scaffold during use.
Typically made from high-tensile steel, ledgers are designed to withstand heavy loads while remaining lightweight for ease of handling. Their tubular structure allows them to be easily locked into place using couplers or Cuplock mechanisms, making assembly and dismantling both quick and safe. Available in various lengths, ledgers can be customized to fit different scaffold widths and configurations.
